Crooked Arrows is set to hit theatre’s this May on the 18th. Check out their facebook page, the official Crooked Arrows website, and their youtube channel that has all kinds of behind the scenes footage.
The Native American lacrosse team which is the focus of the movie is almost entirely composed of real living breathing Native American athletes that have been playing this sport all of their lives. I think one of the players, I believe the goalie, is played by a Native American actor but every other player on the Crooked Arrows team are from various tribes of the Iroquois that are located in New York State. This is the first movie about the sport of lacrosse and it’s Native American origins. Yes, lacrosse was invented by Native Americans and I sugget you check out the movie when it comes out.
The film stars Brandon Routh of Scott Pilgrim vs. the World  and Superman, as well as Gil Birmingham of Twilight.

Climbing.

My brother, Bernie, and my cousin, Rob, spent a really long time at the climbing wall at the U.S. National White Water Center. First they did the self-belaying part of the climbing wall, along with a bunch of little kids. I attempted the wall but quickly realized my fear of heights and jumped down. Then Rob and Bernie saw some men climbing without ropes, which is called bouldering, so they attempted to boulder. Apparently it’s only safe to boulder 10 feet high, so that’s what each of them did. I could only get to about 3 feet without getting scared. :)
